19.2. THE NORTHERN SEA ROUTE – Replacing radioactive power sources with safe navigation solutions
Most of the old light beacons on land in the Russian coastline and islands had been equipped with radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RiTeGs) as electric power source. Since the year 2006 Sabik and JSC Technomarine have delivered a complete solution of navigation lights consisting of lights with low energy consumption and a safe and reliable power source with solar panels and wind generators.
Sabik has started a new case article series and the first release presents our long-term project in the demanding environments of the Northern Sea Route. Read the article in the attached PDF article

Sabik PTE LTD is located in Singapore and will significantly strengthen our presence in the Asian marine signal business.

22.3.2012 SABIK OY AND CARMANAH TECHNOLOGIES SIGN NEW LONG-TERM EXCLUSIVE COOPERATION AGREEMENT
Sabik Oy and Carmanah Technologies, based in Canada, have signed a new five year Exclusive Cooperation Agreement. This agreement builds on the successful two year history of marketing and sales collaboration between the two marine signaling pioneers and initiates a period of deeper integration. Under the terms of the new agreement, reciprocal technology access as well as joint development activities will be undertaken. The combined resources of the two companies will ensure a leadership position in the marine signaling market is maintained based upon leading edge technologies. All marine signaling products will be marketed under the Carmanah/Sabik brand.
