Go Deep International (GDI) was contacted by Canadian Coast Guard‘s Western region (CCG) to assist with a project that they were working on with the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority (VFPA). VFPA were looking to provide improved AtoN for the First Narrows passage at the entrance to Vancouver Harbour which is straddled by the Lions Gate Bridge.

The Poti Sea Port is the largest port in Georgia, located in the eastern Black Sea coast at the mouth of the Rioni River. It serves as a vital link between Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The route is complex to the mariners due to a sharp turn from the searoute and a very narrow channel to the port.

The Southern Ocean around the bottom of New Zealand is well known for being amongst the world’s most dangerous seas. Adding to this are various reefs located within these waterways. An important Aid to Navigation for this area is the Sector Light located at Howell’s Point Reserve in Riverton near Invercargill.

Located on the east coast of India, MARG Karaikal Port is the new gateway to the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. Located near the town of Karaikal, the port was commissioned in April 2009.

Carpenter Rocks is a small coastal town situated 35km south west of Mount Gambier in the south east of South Australia. The area faces the Southern Ocean and is renowned for its rugged coastline, which provides exceptional fishing and diving locations.

The River Crouch is on the East coast of UK and is a river that ows entirely through the English county of Essex. The distance of the Navigation between Holliwell Point which is north of Foulness Island and Battlesbridge is 15.21 Nautical Miles.

Casquets Lighthouse is located on rocks 13km northwest of Alderney in the English Channel. The Casquets area has been the scene of many shipping incidents in the past.

BLCP is an independent power producer located at the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, in the Rayong province on Thailand’s east coast. There are multiple power companies producing electricity and fuel in this estate, for distribution across all of Thailand.

As the part of National Development Plan 2007 /2012 were Sabik navigation lights installed along the Temburong River in Brunei. The traffic has increased over the years in the river and it has become important to increase the safety of the passengers and to ease travelling of vessels along the river.

Sabik has been delivering lanterns to various locations in Indonesia since 2007. Sabik’s distributor PT Terravision has been coordinating the whole project in the region. They have also been trusted for delivery, installation and implementation of Sabik’s lanterns and systems in Indonesia.

Russian ports are operating under heavy traffic all around the year in the changing weather conditions. There are several major ports operating under the port administration of Rossmorport branch in the Black Sea area.

In 2010 the northernmost solar powered lighthouse in Norway received a completely new design created by Norwegian Coastal Administration (NCA) combining Sabik lantern to aid navigation. Sabik’s LED 350 lantern is tailored to suit the northern ice conditions and is well suited to this stylish and sleek base designed by NCA.

For over 30 years has Sabik been delivering several LED lanterns all over the world. During 2015 we have been installing new special solutions to extreme locations including several tier versions of LED 350H.

Venice, Italy, is one of the best known cities in the world and unique with its’ special characteristics. This “living museum” is built on an archipelago of 117 islands formed by 177 canals in a shallow lagoon, connected by 409 bridges.

A Sabik distributor Heliant offers a easily and quickly installed special structure developed for Carmanah and Sabik lanterns, which can be used as a strong pillar and strengthening structure for the lanterns on a buoy. The lantern ODSL200 was installed on an existing and ageing 23 meter high steel tower, with the upper most platform being only about 1 square meter in the location of Aore Island, Vanuatu. Space was very limited, and the fewer personnel and tools that were required to be taken up to the platform the better.

The challenge was how to provide the required day range considering the standard 5° subtense PEL light could only deliver around 3NM for the red and green sectors. The day range could be increased by using multiple PEL lights each mounted above the other.

PEL-6 Sector Light Condenser System The standard PEL-6 condenser system has been in service for almost 20 years. This uses a 250 Watt halogen lamp with a filament configuration to provide maximum pickup angle with the smallest diameter of optic.

For more than 20 years there have been plans to have a rail connection from Helsinki City center to the Helsinki Airport which is located in the neighboring community Vantaa about 18km to north from Helsinki City center.

Sabik’s products have been the chosen option for railway signaling in Finland. The first major project in delivering LED signals to Finnish railways was between 2006 and 2012 in Helsinki where Ilmala railway yard was totally renovated and modernized.
